Rod Miller believes leadership is shaped long before a title is earned.
His journey began in lived experience, navigating uncertainty, responsibility, and complexity well before he entered the C-suite. Over more than three decades in executive roles across multiple industries, Rod has led organizations through growth, disruption, and change. He learned that leadership is less about having the right answers and more about creating the conditions for people and organizations to thrive.
Rod combines real-world executive accountability with strong academic and professional foundations. He holds an MBA, senior HR and governance designations, and certification as a leadership coach. He has also taught leadership and strategy in post-secondary business programs, designing experiential curriculum that bridges theory and practice. What distinguishes his work is not only what he knows but also how he works: with clarity, steadiness, and respect for the human side of leadership.
As a coach, advisor, and facilitator with DeVille Partners, Rod helps leaders navigate complexity with intention. He supports organizations in strengthening leadership capability, aligning strategy and culture, and building environments where trust and performance reinforce one another. His approach integrates strategic insight, systems thinking and reflective practice. As a Metis, he incorporates Metis worldviews to support meaningful, sustainable change.
